Every registration issues a certificate with a public verification code. Share it with a lawyer, a publisher or a sync supervisor.
Anyone with the code can verify a registration. No account needed. Percentages, fees and file names are never shown.
Before registering, the artist signs a declaration. The version and the moment are recorded and cannot be changed afterwards.
A copyright claim is filed with all statutory elements and answered by the registrant. Fortis records both sides and never removes a registration.

The founder
Built by someone who lived the problem.
Zoran Jovanović is a seasoned music‑industry professional with more than 30 years of experience across Serbia and France. His background spans DJing, music production, event organization, and venue management, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the creative, operational, and business sides of the music ecosystem.
Driven by a lifelong passion for music — not just as something he listens to, but something he lives — Zoran has spent decades working closely with artists and creative communities. Through this experience, he witnessed firsthand the challenges independent musicians face: rights violations, unclear payouts, fraud, exploitation, and the absence of a fair system that protects creators.
Fortis Music was founded as a direct response to these challenges. Recognizing the scale of exploitation in the digital music landscape, Zoran set out to build the platform that should have existed years ago — a global, AI‑powered ecosystem designed to protect creative rights, ensure transparent monetization, and empower artists and fans within a unified digital environment.
